Plowing vs. Tractor Snow Blowing

When the first snow falls, you hire a guy with a truck to show up and plow your driveway. Why? Because that is how it has always been done. After all, everyone has a pickup, so just mount a plow and go clear some driveways. Right?

There is a better way!

Enter Tractor snow blowing. We mount state-of-the-art snow blowers to heavy duty tractors and then show up early in the morning to clear your driveway.

Reality.

Plowed Driveway

Snow Blowed Driveway

In the snow removal business, you have to put the snow somewhere. Plows can only push, so they compact the snow and build hardened berms on either side of your driveway. Operators do their best to push the snow out of the right-of-way, but as the season goes on, the piles get bigger, and the driveway gets smaller.

Snow blowing avoids this problem by picking up the snow and throwing it out to a desired snow-storage location such as a swale, or lawn, etc. As a result, your driveway stays full-size all winter long, and your visibility is greatly increased.

We mount high-tech snow blowers to our tractors which enables us to clear a lot of driveways quickly. This translates to a better quality of service at a lower cost which we pass on to you. Seems like a win-win to us!
